Come see our office
Pacific Pointe Insurance Agency moved to a new building in November, 2007. Our new office 1337 Howe Ave, suite 108. We are on the first floor in the building closest to Howe Ave, just North of Hurley Way. We are still in the same office complex we have been in for years, across the street from the Outback Steakhouse. Come by and visit us! And when you step into our office, notice the original lighthouse painting created by one of our creative owners, Janet Hignight!

Innovations
As always, we continue to seek new ways to use technology to provide faster, more accurate responses to your questions and insurance needs. This website is an example of increased use of technology for your benefit. We are already using the internet for uploading information to process your requests quickly, and we are developing methods to download other vital information so we can provide you the latest on your policy status and detials.

See our free Information Workshop!
Starting July 12, 2007 Pacific Pointe Insurance Agency has been offering free Insurance Information Workshops! A workshop is about an hour and a half of stories, information, snacks and prizes! Presenters included Jerry, Janet and Joella Hignight from Pacific Pointe and we normally have a guest speaker from one of our highly rated insurance companies.

Attendance is by invitation only (and it's not hard to request your own invitation, just call us!), and all who have come to a Workshop gave us a good, very good or excellent rating. They learned important insurance terminology and how to read the policy declarations page on a homeowner's and auto policy (the page that spells out what the policy covers). They learned key events that are excluded from a homeowner's or renter's policy and heard stories from the hurricane Katrina tragedy where some found out what their policy excluded only after they had lost everything to the storm! And they learned what an umbrella policy is, what it does, and how to tell if it's appropriate to have one. There is always a question and answer time so that the specific questions on the guests minds can be addressed.

Mixed in throughout the brief but informative presentations are snacks and drawings for door prizes. It's normal for all to stay at least 20 minutes after the Workshop to share their experiences with us and discuss the information they learned. Many listed friends or relatives that would benefit from a future Workshop.

If you would like to be invited to a future Insurance Information Workshop, call our office at 916-979-1700 and ask that your name be added to the list. Seating is limited and class size is typically less than 20 people to give everyone a chance to get their specific questions answered. The Workshop is short to keep everyone fresh and the information is covered at a rapid pace with some fun thrown in for good measure! We are committd that the time be of value to you. You don't have to be a Pacific Pointe client to attend. The Insurance Information Workshop is a public service of Pacific Pointe Insurance Agency. There is never pressure or obligation nor is there any selling at the Workshop. Our goal is to raise awareness of the purpose and use of insurance before tragedy catches you unprepared! Thank you to all who have attended!

If this sounds interesting to you, call right away to request your own invitation to the next Workshop! Call 916-979-1700. (Our phone number is also lised at the bottom of the contact us page)

Our Look
The symbol for our insurance agency is a lighthouse. It reminds us of our constant vigil to help protect you and your family from the numerous dangers that may threaten your health and assets. When you enter our offices you will see lighthouses in various forms, including an original painting by one of our owners and agents, Janet Hignight.
Visit our photo gallery to see our office Each lighthouse reminds us of our mission; Like a lighthouse in the night, we are looking out for you...

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. We are typically closed during evenings, weekends, and holidays, but call us if you need to make a special appointment to accommodate your schedule.
